My wife and I booked the tour in the summer. I had wanted to do the large predator tour since Covid. We were met at the airport by Peep and the rest of our group. 2 lovely couples from Sweden and Germany. Both the hotels we stayed in exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable and the food was excellent. Peep and Burt our primary guides were tireless in their endeavour to ensure we saw as much wildlife as was possible.

We were very happy to really see a bear! So it was worth standing the cold (we were almost freezing). All people (Estonian!) whom we told about the experience until now were very impressed, since they haven’t been seeing any bear in their lifetime.
Thanks for providing the big and warm sleeping bags – and for the experience in general!

It is already some days ago, since we were in Estland. I want to thank you for your great (and very spontaneous) organisation of our tour. It worked great and we saw some nice places as also animals. With the App and the descriptions, it was easy to find the locations. The smart guided tour is well made and we can recommend it! Maybe one point is that at this time of the year, the restaurants close quite early and we should have ordered lunch earlier some times.

Hi Peep! Just to tell you that we spent a wonderful trip with Triin. We
made incredible discoveries, very nice walks in the forest. We have
seen beavers in Matsalu, bears and raccoon dogs at the hide. Accommodations
were perfect. Many many thanks and Triin was more than a guide for us. We
miss her.

First of all, we were lucky to spot the medium-sized bear again in the night
around 8 pm. We again saw a really big bear with its cub after 30 mins.
They were around for a very long time. It was truly breathtaking. We saw
a lot of racoons as well. The hide was super clean. No complaints. I left the
Binoculars there on the bed. ow im back in Rakvere. Andres and Katz were really kind. I would love to do it again or anything related to nature. Thanks a lot and I hope my recommendation goes viral :).

Our stay was one of the biggest highlights I had ever had! Also, our guide which led us to the hide was very nice!
At first, we saw a bear- then a raccoon dog (so cute) and then a wildpig with many baby’s! And the biggest highlight was a whole bear family with 3 young bears! It was so cute!
In the morning we also saw a bear, a group of wild pigs, and a raccoon dog.
I didn’t think we’d see young animals too. do you know in which months the animals have young babies? I think we came at the perfect time!
One day We will definitely come back/ it was so perfect! Thank you for this stunning experience!

Thanks for your mail and thanks for stay at the hide. The week has gone by so fast since I got back from Estonia.

I had a successful two nights. Yes saw a bear on both nights. The first night it came at about 7.30 pm and second night sometime after 8pm.

The weather was great too.

Hi Peep! Yes, everything was awesome 🙂 We saw a lot of bears and raccoon dogs and Andreas had the binocular for us. We left it in the hide because Andreas was not there in the morning. I hope that was Ok. Big thx for all and I can recommend your hide to all people. Perfect and really interesting place.

The place it was comfortable and with excellent observation points, all inside we had a great time. Around 6pm the birds started to arrive, first the treecreepers and the blackcaps, then later the Jay. When they began to lose hope, the first bear appeared around 8:30 pm, go away and returned a little later. According to a second bear, the bigger one who stayed longer to eat. Only then did the raccoon dogs arrive Three roe deer, birds and raccoons popped up this morning. However fantastic experience, you see the bear from so close it was wonderful. Dear Peep. We had such a wonderful night in the hut. And Helge did a great job explaining so much about bears and everything. The kids are happy and me too 🙂 Thanks a lot for the experience of a lifetime!
